I've been asked to create a series of character art to be used on merchandise at the The Sonic Stadium's Summer of Sonic event this August (sadly I'm not being paid :( )
I've decided to make some retroish wallpapers out of the artwork for anybody to use.
Most of the main crew will be getting anniversary wallpapers, I'll be drawing each piece of art in a random order so its not too predictable whos going to be next ;)

I'm still taking commissions btw (not that anybody cares :(, I know my art sucks lol)

This is awesome!!! I love seeing Sonic is in trademark pose. Maybe you could do a version of just Sonic in the pose? (with his right hand on his hip too, hehe). I think that'd be awesome. One final thing, while this really blends in with the official art excellently, I've always thought that Sonic should have a bit more attitude now in his new school look. For example, this can be achieved by narrowing Sonic's eyes some (look at Sonic Adventure 2 art for an example).

Just a suggestion. Keep it up! :D

Yup, I was planning to edit it into his classic pose anyway :P
The item box was just there to show off the 17th anniversary logo lol.

Yeah, I looked at aload of past Sonic designs but I figured it'd make more sense to stick to the design they're using now, however ugly it may be...
